Julie and Long's New York Wedding

March 24, 2016

It was a beautiful Saturday on March 12, 2016 when we witnessed Julie and Long, these two sweet hearts coming together as one. Family and Friends braved the cold weather to celebrate with Julie and Long and every second shivering in the cold was worth it. Prior to the wedding day, it had been raining every day but we planned on having an amazing time, rain or shine and we were able to stay dry until towards the end of the ceremony when it started to sprinkle. The ceremony view was over looking the golf course at The Ranch was breath taking though. Luckily the reception was indoor where every one can stay warm, dance, enjoy some drinks and hang out with the bride and groom. From Julie's DIY decors, to the gorgeous centerpieces, we were absolutely in love with it, especially the colors and little details to remind you of New York. Creative touch from the bride herself. It was a beautiful wedding and I wish Julie and Long a very happy married life.

Lily and Joe's WedBlog

January 20, 2016

I am beyond happy that Lily and Joe hired me to be their wedding photographer. I met Lily through facebook and I am glad that Lily reached out to me about my service..

Lily and Joe met each other while Lily was working at her family's store. They exchanged numbers, dated and now they are starting their new life together as one.

The sweet couple tied the knot on January 10, 2016 witnessed by many of their family and friends. It was my first time shooting a Vietnamese tradition wedding and it was a wonderful experience for me.

I arrived at Lily's house early morning. The bridal party were getting their make up and hair done and Lily's family were all so welcoming and sweet.

The house was decorated from top to bottom with pretty pink flowers and a lot of sparkly glitter decors.

The bouquet for Lily was made by the bride herself and her sister, Katie. I love when my brides get creative with their details & wedding planning because it shows me more of their personality which help me along the way when creating their love story :)

Their reception party was simple, beautiful and fun. Everyone was dancing, mingling and just having a blast on a Sunday night. The photo booth, DJ and Food were all great. Thank you Lily and Joe for allowing me to be part of your special day.

Congratulations to the newly wed couple.

Special thanks to my amazing 2nd shooter: Donna T. I could not have done it without you.

Sophia & Alicia's Same love

October 15, 2015

On October 3rd 2015, I had the honor to 2nd shoot for the one and only Jesse Marquez who we call each other’s soulmate. I was excited to assist her but I got even more excited after learning that it was a same sex wedding.

When I first started shooting weddings in June 2015, I had hope to one day shoot a LGBT Wedding. No kidding, my husband would tell you the same. I’m happy that I committed to Jesse to 2nd shoot with her.

First met with the bride Sophia as she was getting ready. My first thought was WOW! What a beautiful bride. I captured Sophia getting ready next to her gorgeous maid of honor Maritza and their details. Then, I switched with Jesse to go meet and shoot the other bride Alicia. She was getting her hair and make-up done but I was able to take some candid of her and her family and that includes Alicia’s best man Tom.

Both brides are done are all ready to go and the limo arrived. We all head over to the ceremony at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden. The hot sun was beating down at us but it was worth it because it was a beautiful ceremony. We all witnessed what love really mean and that love has no gender. Sophia and Alicia said their I Do’s & had their first kiss and it was awesome to witness their love story.

Put your dancing shoes on, grab your partner & let the party begin. Sophia and Alicia takes us to their reception venue in their limo which by the way was cool. J

The reception was a whole lot of fun. Everyone was having a great time and dancing. I enjoyed the speech from Tom (Alicia’s Best Man) and Maritza (Sophia’s Bride of Honor). They did a great job on their speech and a toast to the Brides.

Every wedding is different but this wedding was by far the best wedding that I’ve shot and seen. It made me see Love in a different way. Thank you Jesse Marquez for having me assist you and thanks to Alicia and Sophia for showing the world that same sex love is STILL love. This is definitely a wedding I’ll never forget. J

Mimy & Ante + Baby

September 17, 2015

On September 12, 2015, Mimy & Ante tied the knot. It was a very special day for Mimy, Ante, their unborn child, family & friends. I had a great time capturing the love story between Mimy & Ante. Their wedding was fun and beautiful.

However, I didn't get a chance to meet with the bride or groom prior to their wedding day and when I met Mimy on September 12th in the morning we clicked right away. I knew the second when I saw Mimy that she was gonna be a stunning bride & I was right about that. Mimy is so beautiful but what made her even more beautiful on her wedding day is that she looks amazing carrying their unborn child. I am a mom of four kids so marriage and pregnancy are two beautiful things to me that I sincerely enjoy capturing :)

While Mimy and Ante prepares for their big day at the nice Hotel in Downtown Los Gatos, I captured the little details and moments between everyone there. There's a beautiful water fountain in front of the hotel which made a great scenic picture for the bride and groom. It was a perfect location for Mimy and Ante.

The ceremony took place at a small Croatian church in San Jose. Even though the church was being renovated during the time of their ceremony, the bride didn't let that ruin her day. Mimy always had the biggest smile when I saw her and her beautiful smile just light up the church.

I was a little sad I had to miss the reception part of their wedding due to my son's birthday party but from seeing how their "getting ready" and ceremony went, I am sure the reception was filled with fun & laughter. Thank you Mimy and Ante for allowing me to witness your special day. Congratulations to you both on a wonderful marriage & a healthy baby.

Being able to witness a love like Whoa! is very rewarding for me. I enjoy every second I get to capture someone's love story because seeing my clients happy, makes me happy.

Enjoy some of my favorites from the wedding. Please check out the galleries for complete album.
